Ovio is a care-services platform focused on helping families support elderly or socially isolated loved ones when they can’t always be there in person. Through the app, users can choose monthly visit packages and tailor the service to specific needs, while caregivers can set their own schedule, accept jobs, and earn income by providing this kind of human, supportive care.

We supported Ovio Care through a capacity-building program, including a pitching training delivered by a VC investor and a pitching session in front of a jury panel. Beyond this, we arranged introductory meetings with key actors in the healthcare ecosystem from our network to help deepen partnerships and strengthen relationships with stakeholders important to the company. Ovio Care also received basic marketing and social media communications training

EyeView create custom 3D environments where companies can present products/services more interactively, including 3D product models, video streaming, and easy embedding into existing websites. The platform also supports AI features, chat/chatbots, and integrations with video communication tools to enable real-time interaction inside the virtual space.

EyeView was supportrd through a structured capacity-building program. This included a pitching training delivered by a VC investor, followed by a pitching session in front of a jury panel. We also organized a project proposal/grant-writing training, and facilitated multiple meetings with relevant stakeholders interested in EyeView’s technology. In addition, we engaged the startup in a project aimed at developing an educational virtual laboratory platform. EyeView also received basic marketing and social media communications training.

Revirestech

The startup Revirestech is focused on developing advanced systems for automated quality control in industry based on computer vision and artificial intelligence technologies. Their solutions combine industrial cameras, AI algorithms, and intuitive web applications to enable precise defect detection, production process optimization, and enhanced quality management. Revirestech focuses on developing and optimizing software modules, ensuring efficient data processing through edge and server computing systems, and testing technology in real industrial environments. In addition to technical development, the startup conducts market research, develops a sustainable business model, ensures intellectual property protection, and builds a recognizable brand — all with the goal of creating competitive and scalable solutions for the industry of the future.
 
Within the HMI2MARKET initiative, the startup received comprehensive support aimed at accelerating the development and market introduction of innovative human–machine interface (HMI) solutions. FSB provided a structured pathway for transforming early-stage HMI concepts into market-ready industrial solutions, leveraging both technical excellence and business acceleration capacities of the participating institutions.

Revirestech

The core of DELTAsort is a delta robot that offers significantly fast picking speeds, especially when combined with our classifiation models detecting different waste types. In addition, the robot’s design and gripping mechanism are optimized for sorting household plastic waste and extracting the most valuable materials, such as clear PET, colored PET, and aluminum cans. All the fractions you need.

SOFTO

Softo is a startup specializing in computer programming, the development of custom software solutions, and the creation of web and mobile applications. Beyond technical advancement, the startup explores the market, develops a sustainable business model, protects intellectual property, and builds a recognizable brand identity, all with the goal of creating competitive and easily scalable solutions for a sustainable industry.

How We Supported Them

As part of the HMI2MARKET project, UNIMED provided Softo with comprehensive support to develop innovative digital solutions for hospitality clients of all sizes. Our focus was on streamlining operational management, helping managers and supervisors coordinate staff more efficiently, reducing manual task allocation, and improving internal communication.

Key areas of support included:

E387 is a Sarajevo-based company that develops and offers electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and a mobile app to make EV charging convenient and accessible across Bosnia and Herzegovina.

University SSST has supported E387 through green product design, preparation for certification, and end-to-end technical assistance – including a full review and audit of production processes and facilitation of all certification steps required for entry into both domestic and EU markets.

Elektronio Handcrafted Vehicles

Elektronio Handcrafted Vehicles designs and creates premium electric bicycles. Their clean tech products comply with the European Directive (EN 15194:2009) for electric bicycles.
 
Within HMI2MARKET, YET supported Elektronio through the project’s entrepreneurship toolkits and IEIL activities, focusing on go-to-market acceleration: customer discovery, value proposition refinement, market segmentation, pricing and partner/stakeholder mapping. YET also provided guidance on new-tech positioning and validation (how the solution fits real HMI needs/use-cases and can be piloted with relevant users/industry actors). Finally, YET strengthened Elektronio’s funding readiness by helping shape the pitch narrative, deck and basic financial assumptions, and by facilitating matchmaking with Business Angels and VCs through the YET’s networking in Greece and EU.

Keon Energy

KEON Energy is an AI-driven EV charging and fleet management platform that optimizes smart charging (dynamic tariffs, solar integration, load management) and reduces CO₂ emissions. 
It also provides fleet analytics and charger control (OCPP-compliant), helping companies monitor vehicles, charging sessions, costs and operational efficiency at scale.
 
Within HMI2MARKET, YET supported KEON Energy through the project’s entrepreneurship toolkits and IEIL activities, accelerating market development by refining the value proposition, mapping target customer segments (e.g., fleets, corporate mobility, charging operators), validating demand, and shaping go-to-market and partnership pathways. YET also helped KEON strengthen its new-tech positioning by translating the solution into clear HMI-driven use cases and pilot opportunities with relevant stakeholders. Finally, YET enhanced KEON’s investment readiness (pitch story, deck, traction/KPIs and basic business model assumptions) and facilitated connections to Business Angels and VCs.

WellPet.ai is developing a smart AI collar that analyzes the behavior, movements, sounds and physiological parameters of dogs in order to recognize their emotional states in real time and provide owners with personalized recommendations through the application. The solution combines sensors, machine learning and edge AI, with global potential in the fast-growing pet-tech market.
 
In the framework of HMI2MARKET initiative, Science Technology Park Belgrade (STPB) provided the startup with comprehensive support in order to accelerate the development and market entry of its innovative, consumer-centered, human–machine interface (HMI) solution in the pet-tech domain. STPB provided Wellpet.ai with strategic support for moving from early-stage concepts toward market-ready products, combining technical expertise, business acceleration, and access to relevant partners.

Includify.me is an AI browser extension that automatically detects accessibility issues and generates WCAG 2.2 compliant code suggestions. It is aimed at small and medium-sized IT teams in the EU that need to align digital products with regulation. Unlike existing solutions, it does not require expert knowledge, is easily integrated into the work of teams and is developed in cooperation with people with disabilities.

Knjigapriča is a platform (mobile application and website) for audio books in the languages ​​of the countries of the former Yugoslavia — Serbian, Croatian and Macedonian. On the wesite/app. users browse the catalog of titles, listen to a demo (part of the audiobook), and — should they be interested — buy the audiobook. The purchased book remains forever in the user’s account. The application has functionalities such as: adjusting the listening speed, navigating by chapter, downloading for offline listening. Knjigapriča today functions not only as a publisher of its own audio books, but also as a platform for the sale of audio books from other publishers and authors.

Shelter Construction

Shelter Construction is developing an innovative Human–Machine Interface (HMI) system that enables intuitive planning, control, and supervision of automated construction processes for complex, curved structural forms. The solution integrates smart design software with a mechanical construction platform, allowing operators to interact with the building process in real time through a dedicated digital interface. This interface translates human-defined architectural and structural parameters into precise machine-executable actions, enabling seamless human–machine collaboration in the creation of shell structures.
 
In the framework of HMI2MARKET initiative, Science Technology Park Belgrade (STPB) provided the startup with comprehensive support in order to accelerate the development and market entry of its innovative, HMI solution that enables intuitive planning, control, and supervision of automated construction processes for complex, curved structural forms.

Guidance on smart application of AI tools in order to validate the product and later on to optimize production (a process which startup planned to take place in 2026)
 
Provision of expert support for the development of a clear and effective go-to-market (GTM) strategy, one of the key steps in the successful commercialization of an innovation. Startup founders were mentored on GTM process, including understanding the target users and their needs, defining the value proposition, market positioning and choosing the most effective communication and sales channels.
 
Provision of actionable insight into how IP works in the entrepreneurial world. During the mentoring session, the basic forms of intellectual property — patents, trademarks, copyrights and industrial designs — were explained in detail, explaining what they specifically protect, in which situations they are applied and how they can benefit different innovative solutions. Also how to choose the right protection model in relation to the development phase, how protection affects market positioning and how it can serve as a competitive advantage.
