This page highlights the innovative ventures being supported and mentored through the HMI2MARKET initiative. Each startup is provided with strategic guidance to bridge the gap between academic research and commercial success, utilizing shared R&D infrastructures to refine their technologies. By fostering these spinoffs and scale-ups, the project aims to drive regional competitiveness and promote inclusive growth within the industrial labor market.
Research is translated into market solutions. Scaling is supported through access to shared infrastructures and expert mentorship to reduce time-to-market.
Advance the removal of workplace barriers via human-centric approaches to foster professional equity. Diverse talent is empowered through the promotion of accessible environments that prioritize social wellbeing.
Regional competitiveness is bolstered through strategic industrial collaboration and partnerships. Sustainable growth is driven by connecting ventures with impact-focused investment and international networks.
Ovio is a care-services platform focused on helping families support elderly or socially isolated loved ones when they can’t always be there in person. Through the app, users can choose monthly visit packages and tailor the service to specific needs, while caregivers can set their own schedule, accept jobs, and earn income by providing this kind of human, supportive care.
We supported Ovio Care through a capacity-building program, including a pitching training delivered by a VC investor and a pitching session in front of a jury panel. Beyond this, we arranged introductory meetings with key actors in the healthcare ecosystem from our network to help deepen partnerships and strengthen relationships with stakeholders important to the company. Ovio Care also received basic marketing and social media communications training
